Monthly protocol used to detect and locate illegal substances.

Staff & students receive either district-wide or school-wide training.

Cameras monitor school grounds and building entrances.
✅ RAVE PANIC APP
Staff can immediately alert law enforcement, the district office, and safety personnel during an emergency.

Any reported threat is thoroughly investigated.

Staff members are comprehensively trained in CPR.

Senior Portraits included in your school’s yearbook will require students dressed in either a Black Drape or a Tuxedo and a Casual Outfit. Prestige will provide the tux and drape outfits at the time of your session. Please wear appropriate undergarments under these outfits. We suggest a white t-shirt to wear under the tux and something strapless to wear under the drape.

The Senior Parent Informational Night that was originally scheduled for tonight, September 9th, has been moved to Tuesday, September 23rd at 5:30 PM. We appreciate your flexibility with this schedule change.


After School Tutoring Begins September 2, 2025!Tutoring is from 3:30-4:30 in the NHS Library Media Center. Monday tutoring subjects are Social Studies and Science. Tuesday is English tutoring. Thursday is Math tutoring. Tutoring MAY also be counted as seat time. Please see administration for details. There are new state guidelines schools must follow for seat time makeup for this year.

The School District of Newberry County is participating in the CEP provision this school year. This provision allows us to feed all students breakfast and lunch at no cost.
