Bulldog Monthly Newsletter | I am Newberry High

From the Principal:

Dear Bulldogs,

Believe it or not, the first semester of the 23-24 school year is coming to an end. As we return from our Thanksgiving break, we only have three and a half weeks to wrap up the classes that our students and teachers have been working hard in since August.

We have four courses that will conclude with the state’s End of Course Examination in the upcoming weeks. These courses include English 2, Biology 1, US History, and Algebra 1/Intermediate Algebra. NHS will continue hosting our EOC Academy after school to assist students in preparing for these assessments. The EOC Academy is a wonderful opportunity for students to get the one-on-one assistance that they might need. As we near the exam weeks, it is important that students are in attendance, well rested, and academically prepared for these assessments, as well as the final exams.

Newberry High School administration, faculty, and staff have challenged our students to meet and exceed high expectations in all areas of education. We have put an intense focus on attendance, academics, and behavior. Our amazing Bulldogs have so far answered the call and improved in all three of these areas. Below, you will find some comparisons to display the results of the hard work of our students, faculty, and staff. As always, we are thankful for the support of our community and families as we continue this growth and journey towards success for ALL students.

Sincerely, Sarah E. Harvey, Principal
