2020-21 Student Registration – Aug. 12 & Aug. 13
We would like to remind you that our Online Registration is currently open for the 2020-2021 school year. You can access it by clicking on the following link: https://secure.infosnap.com/family/message?code=actionprivate Please note that ALL students are required to complete online registration. This includes those students that choose Option 2 Newberry 1 E-Learning. If you need the Snap Code for your child’s registration, please contact the school at 803-364-2134.
In-person registration will be held at the Mid Carolina High Gym on the following dates and times: Wednesday, August 12th (1pm-6pm) and Thursday, August 13th(8am-1pm). On Aug. 12 and 13 parents and students will get the notification of Hybrid Group 1 or Group 2 designation, pay fees, and pick-up their student computer.
Important Information Regarding Student Computer Distribution on Aug. 12 and 13
For the upcoming school year, all students in grades 9-12 will receive a laptop for school use. This will entail a great deal of responsibility on all students' parts. Because of this, we have posted the 1:1 handbook for the School District of Newberry County to our website for parents and students to read. While we will have paper copies at registration next week, we strongly encourage you to read the handbook and download the two forms to be signed by both parent and student. If you do not sign both forms, the school CANNOT assign a laptop to your child. Please find attached the District 1:1 Handbook in English and Spanish. Online registration needs to be completed in its entirety before coming to the school for Registration on August 12 & 13th. If you would like to pay fees via phone with a debit or credit card, please contact Mrs. Jennifer Long at 803-364-2134.
If you need to access a computer/internet for online registration, we are asking that you come by the school prior to August 12th & 13th between the hours of 8 am- 3 pm prior to registration.
Due to COVID-19, safety protocols and social distancing will be
practiced to ensure safety for all students and parents during these
events. Please be aware that these protocols will require extra time
and attention. Therefore, we highly encourage that you take advantage of completing the Online Registration in its entirety before the 12th and 13th in order to save you time with this process.
Mid Carolina High School staff will be available to assist with
Proofs of Residency and Student Fees on the dates and times listed
above.
