June 22 Fall Sport Strength and Condition Updates and Information

The Fall Mid-Carolina athletic teams will begin their summer conditioning on June 22nd. This includes Football, Volleyball, and Cross Country.  Information regarding plans for Competitive Cheer will be sent out soon. This conditioning program is voluntary and open to all students eligible to participate in a fall varsity sport. We would like to invite returning athletes and anyone that may not have participated last fall to join us.

Athletes that participated last year will be contacted by their individual coach with information on the dates, times, and locations that sport specific strength and conditioning sessions will take place.  Any returning athlete that has not been contacted by their coach or that Did Not participate in a fall sport during the 2019-2020 season and would like to participate needs to contact MCHS Athletic Director Chris Arnoult at school by phone or via email at canoult@newberry.k12.sc.us

It will be mandatory that all athletes have a completed Assumption of Risk Waiver For Athletics (COVID-19) form, and have a valid physical form on file dated after April 1 before they will be allowed to participate in any strength and conditioning workouts.  Both required forms have been posted on our school website, athletic website, and social media sites.  Printed copies are also available in the MCHS main office as well.  Any questions should be sent to MCHS Athletic Director, Coach Chris Arnoult.
