This message is an important reminder for all Seniors and Parents that Senior remote learning packets will be collected at Mid-Carolina High School on April 29 and April 30 from 9 am until 1 pm. If your student attends the career center, please return that packet directly to the career center on the same days and times. The last day these packets will be accepted from seniors is April 30, so please be sure to adhere to this deadline.
When dropping off the completed senior remote learning packets please bring any textbooks, uniforms, library books, and any other school materials that are required to be returned so that fines are not added to Senior fees. Also, we have purchased a congratulatory sign for each Senior. The signs will be given out on the Senior work drop-off days.
We will also distribute senior fee bills however we will be unable to collect these fees on these days. Keep in mind that additional fees may be added as textbooks, library materials, uniforms, and classroom books/materials may be added if not turned in. We encourage you to pay these fees online. If you have questions please contact our Bookkeeper, Mrs. Jennifer Long, at 803-364-2134 ext. 80208 or via email. All Newberry County Career Center fees are to be paid at Newberry County Career Center.
Seniors please check your school email to complete two important surveys as part of your senior checklist. Directions and information regarding the High Schools that Works (HSTW) survey and the Future Plans questionnaire have been sent to your school email. If you have any questions regarding the surveys, please email your counselor at 803-364-2134 Monday through Thursday from 9:00 – 1:00. Please complete all surveys by Thursday, May 7, 2020. It is very important that these surveys get completed.
